Originally founded in 1954 Colonial Realty, lead by Joel Hausman and David Gorbach, has been a powerful real estate brokerage house serving Fairfield and New Haven Counties as leaders in all facets of commercial real estate with an unparalleled expertise backed by a proven track record. In late 2018 Colonial Realty merged with The Southpoint Group of Norwalk CT. The Southpoint Group, lead by David Flayhan has been an aggressively growing commercial real estate company since its formation in 2011 with primary focus on Fairfield and New Haven counties in CT.

In November of 2018 the two companies formally joined forces to create a more powerful, experienced group while maintaining strong ethical standards and exceptional customer service. The name of the company, after the merge, is COLONIAL REALTY A Southpoint Group Company. The new corporate headquarters are located at 66 Fort Point Street, Norwalk CT.

The New entity will continue to deliver quality services and positive results, with a strong focus on commercial sales, leasing, investment real estate, exclusive property searches, OREO, stabilization and disposition of commercial real estate.
